Privacy policy

DG Space (“we”, “us”) runs coworking spaces at Suite 607 and Suite 104, Al Amin Tower, NIPA Chowrangi, Block 10, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Karachi 75300, Pakistan. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit our website, book a tour, become a member, visit as a guest or use the member portal, and what we do with it.

We are responsible for the personal information described here. If you have a question or a request about your information, contact us using the details at the end of this page.

When you contact us or book a tour

Your name, email, phone or WhatsApp number, company, team size, the location and workspace you're interested in, your preferred tour time and any message you send. If you arrived from an advert or another website, we also record the campaign details in the link and the address of the referring page, so we know which channels work.

When you become a member

• Contact and profile details: name, email, phone, WhatsApp number, and optionally a photo, job title and short bio.
• Details we may ask for during onboarding: date of birth, an emergency contact, and a copy of your CNIC or other identity document.
• For company accounts: the company's legal name, NTN, billing email and billing address.
• Your account password, which we store only in a scrambled (hashed) form that can't be turned back into the password.

When you use our spaces and services

• Membership, invoices, payments, credit notes and agreements, including the name, email, IP address and time recorded when you sign an agreement online.
• Room and desk bookings, check-ins and check-outs, pantry orders, event sign-ups and support requests, including any files you attach.
• Guests you register: their name, contact details, company, the purpose and time of the visit, and who they're visiting.
• CCTV footage from cameras in our premises, used for safety and security.

When you sign up for an event as a guest

Your name, email, phone number and the number of places you booked.

Technical information

When you sign in, we record your IP address and browser type against your session, and keep a security log of important account actions. We don't use advertising or analytics trackers on our website.

• To provide our services: set up and run your membership, take bookings, let you into the building, register your guests, handle pantry orders and events, and answer support requests.
• For billing: issue invoices and receipts, take payments, send payment reminders and keep accounting and tax records.
• To keep in touch about your account: booking confirmations, reminders, invoices and security notices by email, in the portal and, if you opt in, on WhatsApp.
• To follow up on enquiries: arrange your tour and help you choose a workspace.
• For marketing, only with your permission: news about events and offers if you ticked the box asking for them.
• For safety and security: protect members, staff, guests and our premises, and prevent fraud and misuse of our systems.
• To meet legal obligations: keep records that tax and other laws require, and respond to lawful requests from authorities.

We don't sell your personal information. We share it only where needed to run our services:

• Payment providers such as JazzCash, Easypaisa and Stripe, when you pay online. You enter card and wallet details on their secure pages, and we never see or store your full card number.
• Service providers that host our systems, store files, deliver our emails and WhatsApp messages (WhatsApp is run by Meta), back up our business documents and alert us to technical errors. They may only use your information to provide their service to us.
• Google, if you choose to sign in with Google or connect Google Calendar. With Calendar connected, we add your bookings and events to your calendar. You can disconnect at any time from your profile.
• Your company, if your membership is through an employer or team account. The company's account admins can see the membership, invoices and team activity linked to that account.
• The member you're visiting, if you come as a guest: they're told when you arrive.
• Authorities and advisers, when the law requires it, to protect our rights or people's safety, or with our accountants and legal advisers.

Some of our service providers store information on servers outside Pakistan. We choose providers that protect information to a high standard.

We only use cookies that the website needs to work. They keep you signed in and protect the sign-in process. There are no advertising or analytics cookies, so there's nothing to opt out of.

The map on our home and contact pages is provided by Google Maps, which may set its own cookies when it loads. Google's use of them is covered by Google's privacy policy.

• Membership, billing and agreement records are kept while you're a member and afterwards for as long as tax and accounting rules require.
• Enquiries are kept so we can follow up and know you if you get in touch again. Ask us and we'll delete yours.
• Sign-in sessions are deleted 30 days after they end, and message logs (emails and WhatsApp messages we've sent) after 12 months.
• Booking, check-in and guest records are kept as part of our business records, and for safety and security.
• CCTV footage is overwritten automatically after a limited period, unless we need it to look into an incident.

Our website and portal use encrypted connections (HTTPS). Passwords are stored only in hashed form, accounts are locked temporarily after repeated failed sign-ins, and the keys that connect our systems to services like Google are stored encrypted. Staff can see only what their role needs, and important changes are recorded in a security log.

No system is completely secure, so please use a strong password that you don't use anywhere else, and tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account.

• See and correct your information. Members can update their contact details and emergency contact in the portal under Profile. For anything else, ask us.
• Ask for a copy, or for deletion. We'll delete information we no longer need. Some records, such as invoices, must be kept by law.
• Stop marketing. Tell us at any time and we'll stop sending you news and offers.
• Choose how we notify you. Members can switch most email, WhatsApp and portal notifications on or off in Profile. Emails about account security, billing and agreements can't be turned off while you're a member.
• Stop WhatsApp messages. Reply STOP to any of our WhatsApp messages, and START to turn them back on.

We'll reply to requests within 30 days. We may need to confirm your identity first.

Our services are for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, except as a guest accompanied by a member.

We'll update this page when our practices change and change the date at the top. If a change significantly affects how we use members' information, we'll tell members by email before it takes effect. Our terms of use explain the rules for using our spaces and services.
