Terms of use
The rules for memberships, bookings, guests and events at DG Space, and for using our website and member portal, in plain language.

1.About these terms
These terms apply when you use the DG Space website or member portal, buy a membership or day pass, book a room, register a guest or come to one of our events. DG Space runs coworking spaces at Suite 607 and Suite 104, Al Amin Tower, NIPA Chowrangi, Block 10, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Karachi 75300, Pakistan.
By joining, booking or using our spaces you agree to these terms. If you also sign a membership agreement or a private room licence with us, that agreement applies too, and where the two differ, the signed agreement wins.
How we handle personal information is explained in our privacy policy.
2.Your account
- You must be 18 or over to hold an account or a membership.
- Give us accurate details and keep them up to date, especially your email and phone number, which we use for bookings, invoices and security messages.
- Each account is for one person. Keep your password private and tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account.
- If you join through a company, the company's account admins can manage the team, see its invoices and make bookings on its behalf. The company is responsible for paying what its account owes.
3.Memberships
- What's included. Each plan includes what's listed on our pricing page when you join, for example the access hours, a dedicated seat or a private room, and meeting-room facilities.
- Starting. Your first invoice covers your start date to the end of the billing period, plus any setup fee and refundable deposit shown when you join. Your membership starts once that invoice is paid.
- Renewal. Memberships renew automatically at the start of each billing period, and we invoice you in advance, until you or we end them.
- Changing plans. You can upgrade or downgrade from the portal. The difference for the rest of the billing period is charged or credited to your account.
- Included credits. Meeting-room credits that come with a plan are for the current billing period. Unused credits don't carry over and have no cash value.
- Cancelling. You can cancel from the portal at any time. Your membership then ends at the end of the billing period you've paid for, and you won't be invoiced again. We don't refund the rest of a period you've already started.
- Pausing. Ask the team if you need to pause your membership. Pauses are at our discretion.
4.Fees and payment
- Prices are in Pakistani rupees (PKR). Where sales tax applies, it's shown on your invoice.
- Invoices are due by the date shown on them. You can pay online in the portal, by bank transfer, or at reception.
- If an invoice isn't paid on time, we'll send you reminders. If it's still unpaid after a short grace period, we may add a late fee and restrict your access until the account is up to date.
- Deposits are refunded within 30 days of your membership ending, less anything you owe us, for example unpaid invoices or the cost of repairing damage beyond normal wear and tear.
- We may change our prices. We'll tell members before a new price applies to their membership, so you can cancel before it takes effect if you don't want to continue.
5.Bookings and day passes
- Meeting rooms, the CEO chamber and day passes can be booked in the portal or at reception, subject to availability. Booked time includes setting up and clearing the room.
- Cancelling or changing a booking: you can do this free of charge up to 24 hours before it starts, unless a different cutoff is shown when you book. After that, the booking is charged in full and any credits used aren't returned.
- If you don't turn up, the booking is charged in full.
- Please finish on time so the next booking can start on time. Overruns may be charged at the room's hourly rate.
- A day pass gives you a seat in the shared hall on the date of your booking. It doesn't include a reserved seat.
6.Private rooms
Private rooms are provided under a separate licence agreement, which sets out the room, term, fee, deposit, notice period and renewal. A licence lets you use the room. It isn't a tenancy and doesn't give you any interest in the property. We may need to enter the room for cleaning, maintenance, safety or emergencies, and will try to give notice where we can.
7.House rules
DG Space works because everyone looks out for each other. When you're in our spaces, please:
- Be respectful and professional to other members, guests and our team. We don't tolerate harassment, discrimination or abusive behaviour.
- Keep noise down in the hall. Take long calls and video meetings in a meeting room or another suitable space.
- Keep shared areas clean and tidy, and leave rooms as you found them.
- Smoke only in the designated smoking area.
- Use our internet fairly and lawfully. Don't try to access other people's devices or data, interfere with the network, or use it for anything illegal.
- Don't bring anything dangerous or illegal onto the premises, or run a business that needs permits we don't hold.
- Don't share your access, or let others use your desk or room, without our agreement.
- Take care of furniture and equipment. Report anything broken, and pay for any damage you or your guests cause beyond normal wear and tear.
- Follow our team's instructions about safety, security and emergencies.
Our premises are covered by CCTV for everyone's safety.
8.Guests
- Register your guests in the portal or at reception before they arrive. They must sign in at reception.
- You're responsible for your guests while they're with us, including their behaviour and any damage they cause, and they must follow these house rules.
- Guests can join you in shared areas and rooms you've booked. They can't use the space to work on their own without a pass.
9.Events
Events are listed on our events page. If you can't make it, cancel your place so someone on the waitlist can have it. For paid tickets, contact reception. If we cancel an event, we'll refund or credit any tickets you've paid for. We may take photos at events for our website and social media. Tell the team if you'd prefer not to be in them.
10.Our responsibilities
We'll provide our services with reasonable care and skill. We work hard to keep the internet, power backup, air conditioning and other facilities running, but we can't promise they'll never be interrupted, for example during repairs or outages outside our control.
- You're responsible for your belongings. We aren't responsible for things that are lost, stolen or damaged on our premises, unless that's caused by our negligence.
- Back up your work. We aren't responsible for lost data, lost profits or business losses.
- As far as the law allows, our total liability to you in connection with your membership or booking is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
11.Suspension and ending
We may suspend your access or end your membership straight away if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms or the house rules, put people or property at risk, or don't pay what you owe after we've reminded you. Otherwise, we may end a membership at the end of a billing period by giving you at least one billing period's notice.
When a membership ends, please clear your desk or room and return any keys or access cards. Belongings left behind may be disposed of after 14 days.
12.Our website and portal
- The text, photos, logos and design of our website belong to DG Space. Please don't copy or reuse them without our permission.
- Don't misuse the website or portal, for example by trying to get around security, overload the service or access other people's accounts.
- Links to other websites, such as WhatsApp, Google Maps and our social media pages, are covered by those websites' own terms.
- We try to keep the information on our website accurate, but photos are for illustration, and availability can change.
13.Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time and will change the date at the top when we do. If a change significantly affects members, we'll email you before it takes effect. If you keep using our spaces after that, the new terms apply.
14.Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. If you have a complaint, please talk to us first and we'll do our best to put it right. If we can't resolve it, the courts in Karachi will deal with it.
